If you’re looking for beautiful vinyl and laminate flooring installation in Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Summerlin, or Henderson, we’d love the opportunity to work with you.

There are a lot of differences (and pros and cons) to consider when choosing between wood, vinyl, and laminate flooring. Here's what you need to know in the simplest terms possible:
Vinyl flooring is made of 100% synthetic materials, while laminate flooring is made from wood byproducts, and wood is made from (you guessed it) wood.
Both vinyl and laminate flooring have a top layer that may or may not be embossed (and will at the minimum be printed) to give the appearance of wood with a hard surface over the top to protect it from wear and tear, and wood (you guessed it) already looks like itself but still has an outer coating to protect it.
Another big difference is that vinyl flooring is much more moisture-resistant and can be laid anywhere, even bathrooms and kitchens, where laminate and wood might succumb to water damage.
Both vinyl and laminate flooring come in a range of prices, depending on quality. Wood is much more expensive since it's going to last longer, allow for resurfacing in the future, and save money for decades to come, but can be hard to source right now. Luxury vinyl planking is a good middle ground between cost effectiveness and the durability of real wood.
What we recommend: luxury vinyl planking for its durability and water resistance. It costs more for materials than cheaper stuff, but it's not going to be an investment you'll regret in the future.
(Note: As a Finish Carpentry company, we only install wood, vinyl, and laminate flooring. We can't help with any carpet, tile, or concrete needs.)
Sadly, the industry is saturated with vinyl and laminate flooring installers who just don’t do the quality of work you deserve. Here’s what we’re often hired to come in and fix:
I pride myself on a company that is known for doing things differently than all the nightmare contractors you’ve probably heard of (or had the misfortune to work with yourself - let me apologize on behalf of the industry).
Here's how we're different:
But most importantly, we are experts in the field of Finish Carpentry.
Meaning you don’t just get it done right; you get it done PERFECTLY and the FIRST time, saving you not only frustrations, but also time and money.
Wondering what the process looks like, from bid to completion?
First, you give us a call or send an email. I’ll go over your project with you by phone to get a rough idea of what you’re wanting to create in your home or business. I’ll ask you some questions to make sure we're the right people for your job, and answer any you have as well.
Next, I’ll use any measurements you can give me (even rough ones), as well as any photos you might have, to give you a ballpark of what your project would likely cost, barring anything I can’t see over the phone.
If that ballpark sounds good to you, our next step will be to schedule a time to come out to you to get exact measurements and discuss material options with you. I will look for any potential design elements we need to address, can answer any further questions you have, walk you through your options, and use these details to get you an exact cost for your flooring installation project.
Your final bid is guaranteed for 30 days and is exactly what you pay, not a penny more (unless there are major changes or additions to the project).
Meaning you’ll know exactly what to budget for your project and won’t get hustled for more.
From there, you can make your deposit which will allow me to get your vinyl or laminate flooring material ordered and get your install on the schedule with me and my team.
We will give you start and end times each day, will notify your neighbors of how to let us know if there are any issues (like parking or debris that the wind carries into their yard), and I and my small team will arrive on time to install your new flooring.
We set up our tools outside and get started on your project right away, cleaning up as we go to minimize dust and debris, and keep the space safe for us and for you and your family. If we encounter any decisions or concerns along the way, we'll let you know immediately and help you through the decision-making process with expert perspectives.
How long your flooring installation will take will vary based on the size of your project. The biggest chunk of our time is in setting up. After that the project goes pretty swiftly. To give you an idea of what to expect:
We will give you a custom time estimate for your own flooring installation when we submit your final bid. (I do like to overestimate this, so that you're never left waiting on us, but we're done ahead of schedule 95% of the time.)
Once the job is complete, we'll do a final walkthrough with you to get your approval and make sure you love everything. The remainder of your invoice is due upon completion of the job.
This is up to you, your budget, and the work you'd like done (vs done yourself), but here’s what we can include:
Some people might have their materials already and we will happily work with them whenever possible. But most people prefer to pick their material out (with our help if you'd like) and have us order it. It’s often cheaper if we do the ordering through our contractor accounts, and we don’t charge any markup when we do. There may be delivery charges to consider from the suppliers though.
*Although we’re obviously extremely careful, accidents do happen when moving furniture and we are not liable for damage done. It also saves you money if you prefer to do this yourself.
I work directly with wholesalers to get you the best price on materials possible.
When we meet for your final quote, I can bring options and ideas for you to choose what you prefer (and can offer my professional opinion based on your space and budget as well).
If you prefer to supply your own material, I’m happy to take a look at it to ensure we can work with it (we usually can).
My favorite flooring supplier in the Las Vegas area is Lumber Liquidators. You can go to their showrooms and see their options up close.
We add no additional charges or markup for your flooring materials, ordering, pickup, delivery, etc, past what the suppliers charge.
The cost to install your vinyl or laminate flooring depends on several variables:
