If you’re looking for crown molding (crown moulding) in Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Summerlin, or Henderson, we’d love the opportunity to work with you.
Keep reading to learn the following:
Crown molding (or crown moulding, depending on how fancy you feel) is the decorative trim done at the joint where the wall meets the ceiling.
It's also often done around the top of kitchen cabinets.
It’s added to “finish” a room and give it an upscale, complete, or elegant feel, and can also add to a home’s resale value in many cases.
And it just gives your home a "wow" factor that makes you proud to invite people over.
Sadly, the industry is saturated with finish carpenters, handymen, and installers who just don’t do the quality of work you deserve. Here’s what we’re often hired to come in and fix:
I pride myself on a company that is known for doing things differently than all the nightmare contractors you’ve probably heard of (or had the misfortune to work with yourself - let me apologize on behalf of the industry).
But most importantly, we are experts in the field of Finish Carpentry.
Meaning you don’t just get it done right; you get it done PERFECTLY and the FIRST time.
Wondering what the process looks like, from bid to completion?
First, you give us a call or send an email. I’ll go over your project with you by phone to get a rough idea of what you’re wanting to create in your home or business. I’ll ask you some questions to make sure we're the right people for your job, and answer any you have as well.
Next, I’ll use any measurements you can give me (even rough ones), as well as any photos you might have, to give you a ballpark of what your project would likely cost, barring anything I can’t see over the phone.
If that ballpark sounds good to you, our next step will be to schedule a time to come out to you to get exact measurements and discuss material options with you. I will look for any potential design elements we need to address, can answer any further questions you have, walk you through your material options, and use these details to get you an exact cost for your crown molding project.
Your final bid is guaranteed for 30 days and is exactly what you pay, not a penny more (unless there are major changes or additions to the project).
Meaning you’ll know exactly what to budget for your project and won’t get hustled for more.
From there, you can make your deposit which will allow me to get your material ordered and get your install on the schedule.
We will give you start and end times each day, we will notify your neighbors of how to let us know if there are any issues (like parking or debris that the wind carries into their yard), and I and my small team will arrive on time to install your crown molding.
We setup our tools outside and get started on your project right away! If we encounter any decisions or concerns, we'll let you know immediately and help you through the decision-making process with expert perspectives.
How long your crown molding installation will take will vary based on the size of your project. The biggest chunk of our time is in setting up. After that the project goes pretty swiftly.
To give you an idea of what to expect:
We will give you a unique time estimate for your own crown molding installation when we submit your final bid. (I like to overestimate this, so that you're never left waiting on us, but we're done ahead of schedule 99% of the time.)
Once the job is complete, we'll do a final walkthrough with you to get your approval and make sure you love everything. The remainder of your invoice is due upon completion of the job.
This is up to you, your budget, and the work you'd like done (vs done yourself), but here’s what we can include:
Some people might have their materials already and we will happily work with them whenever possible. But most people prefer to pick their material out and have us order it. It’s often cheaper if we do the ordering through our contractor account, and we don’t charge any markup when we do.
There may be delivery charges to consider from the suppliers though. Again, we don’t add markup to that.
We can refer you to a painter if you don’t have one yourself, and only refer ones with the attention to detail and perfectionism we expect for our clients.
*Although we’re obviously extremely careful, accidents do happen when moving furniture and we are not liable for damage done. It also saves you money if you prefer to do this yourself.
I work directly with wholesalers to get you the best price on materials possible.
When we meet for your final quote, I’ll bring options and ideas for you to choose what you prefer (and can offer my professional opinion based on your space and budget as well).
If you prefer to supply your own material, I’m happy to take a look at it to ensure we can work with it.
If you’d like to see the crown molding material in person before choosing what you’d like in your home, I’d recommend visiting One Stop Trim Shop in Las Vegas, NV.
You have two main costs you’ll be budgeting for:
This makes the average cost for crown molding materials and installation $5-10 per linear foot, depending on your project details.
